(NEW YORK, NY-August 6th 2007)-- In continuation of the Entertainers 4 Education Alliance mission to reach our youth, Super Producer and Universal Records recording artist, Swizz Beatz, has signed on to be the next guest at the “It’s SHOWTIME: In Theatre Event Series”. MTV’s VJ Sway will co-host the event on Thursday, August 9th 2007 from 6:00pm-8:00pm from at the AMC Lincoln Square Theatre (68th and Broadway) in New York City. E4EA along with HOT 97 FM, the official radio partner, will invite over 600 tri-state area high school students to attend this exclusive event.

Entertainers 4 Education Alliance continues to spread their message of hope and encouragement to youths with the continuation of the In Theatre Event Series.” This program is specifically designed to utilize celebrity figures young people admire to encourage them to follow their dreams, make smart choices, stay focused, and most importantly stay in school. Students will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with celebrities. Swizz Beatz will not only perform his hit songs but encourage students through his personal struggles and testimonial. Students will also have the opportunity to ask Swizz personal questions, get his autographs and take pictures.

The national drop out rate for Black and Hispanic students is almost 50%. 20,000 students drop out of NYC high schools each year. New York State has the highest drop out rate for Black and Hispanic students in the nation. Only one out of ten Black and Hispanic students in NYC graduates on time with a Regents diploma. Nationwide, approximately 7,000 students will drop out of school every day.

Swizz Beatz says "It’s an honor to be a voice that can encourage young kids to stay in school......Growing up, I looked up to celebs like myself!! So to be able to talk to these kids face to face and answer their questions and interact with them is great!! It’s going to be a great day for both the kids and myself..."

"It is vital to use our celebrity to make the youth aware of the importance of obtaining an education. Even if it’s not through conventional means, it is necessary to constantly equip your mind with information. It will help you to make the best choices in life which can lead to your success. Swizz beats is a living example." Sway Calloway

About Swizz Beatz: Bronx born, 28 year-old, hit making production. It is why the title of his upcoming sophomore album, The One Man Band Man, rings so true. Swizz to this day has had a hand in over 95 million records sold. Swizz was the man behind hits for the entire Ruff Ryders label’s roster of stars including DMX (“Ruff Ryders Anthem”), Eve (“Who’s That Girl”) and The Lox (“Wild Out”). So popular were his frenetic beat concoctions that soon he was farming out his talents to the likes of Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes (“Touch It”) Remy Martin (“Whuteva”) and Beyonce (“Ring The Alarm”, “Upgrade You”, “Get ‘Em Bodied”), just to name a few.

While Swizz’ production resume is enough for a dozen musical careers, it doesn’t stop there. Besides being a rabid art collector, Swizz’ owns a restaurant, two car dealerships and a record label whose roster and projects includes rappers Cassidy and Bone, Thugs & Harmony, co-executive producing Eve’s new album, R&B songstress, Mashonda, and, of course, himself. Finally, Swizz just accepted a position as an Ambassador of Music for World Peace to the United Nations.
