JIM JONES PARTNERS WITH ENTERTAINERS 4 EDUCATION ALLIANCE TO PRESENT THE ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS POETRY CONTEST.

BALLIN CEO DETERMINED TO INSPIRE AND ENCOURAGE INNER CITY YOUTH.

NEW YORK, NY NOVEMBER 15™ 2006
Hip-Hop music mogul Jim Jones has teamed up Entertainers 4 Education to present the "Achieve Your Dreams" Poetry Contest to inspire and encourage inner city youth to dare to dream. Deadline for submission is November 30th, 2006.

The Achieve Your Dreams grand finale event will be held on Wednesday December 13th 2006 at the Magic Johnson Theatre in Harlem, USA from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Six finalists will read their poems a loud in front of Jim Jones, E4EA staff and a panel of invited industry judges.

The evening will also serve as a follow-up to the 911 State of Emergency: Saving Our Students event where the music/entertainment community, city school officials, educators, and politicians came together to address the enormous drop out rate in our New York City public schools. Parents, educators, students and community leaders will discuss strategies for getting students more interested in school thus lessening the enormous drop-out rate in NYC. The drop out rate in NYC is at an astounding all time high according to reports in USA TODAY reports that, students have a less than 50-50 chance of graduating from high school. Among the nation's 50 largest districts, the study finds, three graduate fewer than 40%: Detroit (21.7%), Baltimore (38.5%) and New York City (38.9)

The media partners for the Achieve Your Dreams Poetry Contest are HOT 97 FM and the Source Magazine. Financial contributors include Koch Entertainment. This event is open to invited guest and media only.

The Achieve Your Dream Poetry Contest is the latest installment in a series of events produced by the EARS Entertainment Group for Entertainers 4 Education Alliance to encourage at-risk youth to stay in school, pursue higher education and follow their dreams. Students are asked to write a poem about how they will achieve their dreams just like Jim Jones is achieving his. The grand-prize winner will be awarded a book stipend to pay for all books for the first year of college and summer internship working directly with Jim Jones and Diplomat Records. Five runner-ups will meet and greet Jim Jones at the private grand finale reception and receive a personal autographed poster. This contest is open to high school juniors and seniors in New York City. All entries must be 30 lines or fewer and will be judged based on originality, imagination, characterization, artistic quality, and the adherence to line limits and deadlines. There are no entry fees, no subsidy payments, and no purchase of any kind is required to enter and win the contest.

Jim Jones states “Material things come and go, trust me I know. I’ve had it all and much has been taken away. I've always been able to achieve my goals because I know the importance of an education. No rapper, athlete, or entertainer would be successful without a lawyer or an accountant and you need a degree and certification for both. The Achieve Your Dreams Poetry Contest is one of the ways I am letting young people know that they can be anything they want to be.”

“The drop-out rate in NYC is staggering; we are always looking for innovative ways to engage students and get them excited about school. This is another way to utilize those celebrities our students admire to inspire our children”, states Entertainers 4 Education co-founder J. P Taylor states
